Post-Placement pictures gone bad
After the kids are home, you are required to send post-placement reports and pictures every few months. These pictures go to your agency, who mails them to Ethiopia to put in your file. There is even a possibility that any birth family can come and ask for these pictures. Sooooo....you work super hard to get the cutest, happiest pictures ever! Here are a few that I've taken:
Don't they look perfect??? Well....to be honest, my kids are super silly. I have to take a lot of pictures to find a worthy one. Here is what the rest of the 582 pictures look like :)
Wouldn't this make a great post-placement picture?? It looks like his head is on fire! It was just a sparkler on New Years Eve and some funny tricks of the camera.
This is my "real" family. Crazy, goofy and loud. I love them SOOO much!

The camping trip
We thought it was about time to introduce the kids to one of our favorite hobbies...camping! In the past, we have been the ruffin' it kind of family. Mike and I love just taking a backpack into the woods and disappearing for a week. But after we evaluated how much "stuff" you need to keep four kids happy, we decided to go in a trailer.
We decided to take the boys for a little hike. About three minutes down the trail, Adrian and I were carrying both of them. I was determined to reach our goal of the little duck pond. After lots of huffin and puffin, we finally reached the spot. It was dried up, but they did have fun throwing rocks into the big puddle of water that was left. And then we carried them back :) It might be a while before we take them on a serious hike.
The best part about the camping trip...S'MORES!!!
